If you are going to be born from October to February, it is advisable to take a good bag that shelters to the maximum, since it will take advantage of it during many cold months. If you are going to be born in March or April, it is more advisable to take a thin sack, more lightly, because the cold days will be less, and if there is a drop in temperatures on time it is preferable to put an extra blanket on top of the sack that do not go with one in the middle of winter, which will give you an undesirable heat. For babies born from May to September, there are cooler bags that can be used if it cools down at night or if you are going to spend the summer in the mountains, where one more layer is always appreciated.
Exactly the same happens with group 0 as with the carrycot. By the way, don't worry about the harnesses. There are sacks that already have the holes made, and others have marked where they must be cut to open them. It is important to note if group 0 wears 3 or 5 point harnesses, as this can also affect the choice of bag. The use of bags for group 0 is also of special importance in terms of safety, since it is very dangerous to carry children in child restraint systems in warm vehicles because, even if it does not seem like it, the warm clothing reduces tension to the belt or harnesses of the smallest, so it loses effectiveness in case of braking. It is for this reason that with a good bag our baby will not be cold in the car, and will be perfectly safe.
When the baby is older, we will move him to the chair, from where he will have better views of everything around him and will be able to satisfy his curious spirit. To choose a bag for the chair we advise you to think carefully if you are going to use it for a long time, because when the child grows sometimes the bag becomes too small, and it can be a problem. Some bags offer the possibility of opening at the bottom without having to undo everything, so the child can continue inside the bag, but the feet come out through the lower opening. It is also a good aspect to take into account if your son is a great lover of parks (are there any that are not?) Because in this way, with the lower opening, we will prevent them from filling our sandbag and we will have than spend the day washing it.
It is important to comment that not all bags are compatible with all strollers, so it is essential to check that the bag you like works well with your stroller model. Some stroller brands make their own footmuffs for their chairs, but you can also look for a universal footmuff, which goes well with most pushchairs.
