The chair Klippan Century It is designed for those parents who are convinced to take their children into reverse gear as long as possible.
As it is a group 1/2 you can start using it from 9kg and up to a maximum of 25kg. Be careful, as we always tell you this is relative. The 9kg is a (legal) approval criterion, but to be safe, the harness has to be at most shoulder height and the head well positioned on the headrest. The ergonomic criteria usually advise at least 9 months (not earlier). For this and many other reasons we always say that retention systems Must be tested before purchase.
It has the seal Plus- Test because it meets one of the premises to obtain it: The measurement of load on the neck is less than 122kg and, today, it is only achieved with one position in reverse gear.
The installation is carried out with the seat belt of the car and to offer a support that avoids “bouncing” or overturning towards the back of the bench, it incorporates Low Tether straps that are fixed on the rails of the front seat.

We install Klippan Century in a real car
Being a highly anticipated chair, we were able to do the first real installation in no time! 😉
We could see that it is a chair that works very well since the car seat where we installed it was not easy.
In this case, the installation was quite complex, since the bench had a lot of angle, it was wide and we couldn't do without the passenger's space. If the sidewalk is narrow it allows us to install towards the tip and it allows us to tilt, but in this case, we did not have enough space. Fortunately, we find the pleasant surprise that the Klippan Century has the largest recline of groups 1-2 without depending on wedges and it has allowed us to compensate the angle of the stool to prevent the baby / child from falling when they fall asleep.
We loved the result after installation! It is an easy to install chair that is completely fixed to the seat. It does not have any kind of movement.
Tests with 7-year-olds and almost 25kg

The Klippan Century is a lousy chair. The security it provides is unfortunate. The tether straps are impossible to tighten, and the strap system continually jams. And to top it all off they have a stratospheric price for what little they offer. If you want security for your children, refrain from buying this chair.

That there they have the seat at a 90 degree angle and in your car the seat base is not straight, it is more inclined so that the chairs never stay like when you try them in store. That is why it is always important to test it in the vehicle where the child is going to travel.
