We all want our children to be great readers, right? And we are clear that you have to lead by example, which is why we strive to read in front of them so that they get caught by the bug and by imitation they enter the fabulous world of books. But if we don't offer attractive stories and books, they will hardly love reading.

That is why today we bring you a list with 10 books that you cannot miss in your little ones' bookstore. Take note!

The Monster of Colors (Anna Filled): One of the crown jewels! a story in which a monster has made a mess with its own emotions and does not know how to feel. Throughout the story you will separate them and learn what joy, fear, or calm is. Highly recommended for children from 2-3 years old who begin to recognize their own emotions, a great help for parents in times of "crisis" of tantrums or sadness.

Book (Hervé Tullet): Be careful with this book because we can assure you that it will not leave you or the parents indifferent. And the most surprising thing is that in the story there is only one element: circles. It doesn't take anything else to amuse and entertain little ones and not so little ones that they can't wait to turn the page to discover the result of their actions, because this book is interactive, and without having a button! Of course, prepare to have to explain it once, and another, and another, and another ...

Elmer (David Mckee): The smallest will win at first sight, with its beautiful colored cover, and the adults will win us over for its commitment to solidarity, respect and friendship. Elmer is a different elephant, and he doesn't want to be any more. A good option to start working on very important values from very young ages.

What does the moon taste like (Michael Grejniec): Oh, the moon! That mysterious stranger hanging up there, every child has ever dreamed of being astronauts and taking a walk on the lunar surface. The protagonists of this story have a different question, what does the moon taste like? To find out they are going to need each other, putting on the table the importance of sharing and helping each other. And you, what do you think the moon tastes like?

Ning Nong (Jaume Barri): This proposal is aimed especially at the little ones at home. It is not really a story as we can imagine it to be a story. Ning Nong is a music book. It consists of a CD with children's songs and a book with felt figures that represent the characters of each song. It also comes with two mittens where we can stick the figures with velcro and dance with them. Music can be our ally to have a first contact with books, very, very rewarding.

My mom is magic (Carl Norac): They all are, right? This story explains how the mother of the little protagonist does such magical things as heal a wound with a kiss or scare away the monsters in the closet. A fantastic book for all the children who are more than in love with their mother, one of the most special people in their life.

Inside our mom (Jo witek): This is a very special recommendation for all those children who are waiting for the arrival of a little brother. This can be a complicated stage because many times the little ones do not understand what is happening inside their mother's belly. This story has some wonderful illustrations that show the evolution of the baby with all the emotion that only the books with flaps can provide. Oh, and you don't have to be expecting a baby to enjoy it, it's still a gem even if the family is already complete 😉

I will kill monsters for you (Santi Balmes): Many children are afraid. Fear of the dark, of sleeping alone, of the monsters that live under the bed ... But what if the monsters that live down there were also afraid of children? What will happen when Martina, the protagonist, meets Anitram, the "terrible" monster that lives under her bed? Sometimes things scare us because we don't know them. This story for children from 5 years old will help us work on our children's fears in a peaceful and rational way, even if the title seems the opposite!

The house of the mice (Karina Schaapman): This is one of those tales that provoke a wow! just by opening it, because the beautiful house of the mice in which Sam and Julia live, really exists! Accompany them to live adventures in the dozens of different rooms that the author really built and in which as she was working, the idea of creating a story was maturing in her head. You will not be able to contemplate each and every one of the carefully constructed details, a true work of art!

Shhh! We have a plan (Chris Haughton): What a habit we adults have in wanting to do things without listening to other opinions, right? The little protagonist of this story sees how his brothers do not listen to him, obsessed with his plan to catch a bird and silence him over and over again. But what if they learned to work as a team? A beautiful book with little text and stunning illustrations in shades of blue that we are sure will captivate you.
